Our 8-week Peer Support Worker Training equips you with the skills, confidence, and knowledge to make a real difference—whether you're looking to return to work, already in a peer support role or looking to step into one.
Grounded in the Health Education England Competence Framework and quality assured by AQA, this course prepares you to offer emotional, social, and practical support across a range of settings—1:1, in groups, online, or by phone.
To receive proof of completion, delegates must attend all 8 sessions and complete assessed coursework. Successful participants will be awarded an AQA Unit Award Scheme certificate for each completed module, demonstrating full completion of the programme.

- 8 full training days (48 hours of in person or online training)
- Course manual and workbook- printed and electronic versions
- Access to our online learning portal with additional materials and interactive tasks
- Individual and group mentoring throughout the training from our experienced team
- Support from our training team to set goals for your next steps following the training
- Buddy groups to enhance learning and support
- Training certification from AQA for up to 8 modules
- Access to our Peer Support Network Alumni group after the course is completed.

Cup-O-T offers outdoor-based occupational therapy programmes as well as family and community sessions across Norfolk. Our programmes empower young people aged 7-25 and families, who face complex and difficult challenges in their lives. We focus on the physical, mental and emotional wellbeing of our young people working with them to make lasting changes to their lives and helping them play a positive role in their communities.
