Volunteer Leadership Programme: The Complete two day Course – For Volunteer Leaders operating in Babergh and Mid Suffolk (4th and 11th November)
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BEFORE REGISTERING FOR THIS COURSE: IN PERSON TWO DAY COURSE. 4th and 11th November, both sessions need to be attended. A fully funded two-day Volunteer Management Leadership course for VCFSE organisations based/ operating in Babergh and Mid Suffolk. *****This session is one of the available options for training and support available to Babergh Mid Suffolk VCFSE organisations as part of the ‘Strong Foundations: Stronger Futures’ programme. Suitable for both new and existing volunteer coordinators, this course will cover all of CAS’s Volunteer Management courses.
Including:
Volunteers and the law: To have a better understanding of the legal aspects around recruiting and managing volunteers within your Organisation.
Volunteer Journey: Plan, Include, Support, Celebrate: how to plan for, attract and retain volunteers within your organisation. Dealing with Challenging situations: How to deal with conflict and challenging situations involving volunteers.
This two-day course provides you with a great opportunity to meet like-minded volunteer coordinators in the Babergh Mid Suffolk area. Participants will need to attend both sessions.
Participants will need to bring their own lunch, Refreshments will be provided and there will be plenty of opportunity to share ideas and knowledge. Nearer the time we will contact you to ask if you have an Dietary requirements and/or allergies.
By the end of the sessions you will:
• Have a better understanding of the legal aspects around volunteering and the law
• Come away with a road map of how to successfully plan and manage volunteering within your organisation
• Be more confident when dealing with challenging situations or conflict involving volunteers
• Have developed your support network of volunteer co-ordinators
At the end of the course, you will be provided with
• Certificate of attendance(digital)
• Volunteer Management Handbook
• A designated CAS volunteer team member contact
