Retrofit construction training in carpentry, insulation & decorating with City & Guilds EL3 qualification and progression into sustainability skills

The training for this project focuses on retrofit and construction skills, giving young people hands-on experience in areas such as carpentry, insulation & drylining, painting & decorating, and flooring installation. Learners will work alongside experienced trade mentors while developing practical employability skills and earning a City & Guilds Entry Level 3 qualification, with potential progression into further retrofit accreditation.

Learners may also have the opportunity to progress onto a Level 1 Environmental Awareness and Sustainability in the Construction Sector course, exploring areas such as sustainable construction practices, waste reduction, energy efficiency, environmentally friendly materials, and pollution awareness within the building industry.

If you are interested, whether as a learner or someone working with young people, please feel free to share this opportunity. For more information or to join the project, please contact me directly by email or phone. I’m available Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm.
