This regulated and nationally recognised qualification provides learners with the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge in basic life support (BLS).
using a defibrillator (AED) and managing anaphylaxis in emergency situations.
This qualification has been designed for people who have a specific interest or responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities, to provide adult, child or infant BLS, safely use an AED and provide management of anaphylaxis.
Course Content:
Be able to assess an emergency situation safely
Be able to provide first aid to an unresponsive casualty who is not breathing normally
Be able to provide first aid to an unresponsive casualty who is breathing normally
Be able to provide first aid to a casualty with anaphylaxis
